Speed Rapper With a Dying Phone Battery Shocks Passersby With His Fast Talking

“You want lasagna for dinner?/Ricotta’s a winner/I’m thinking’ bout a little pasta with some sauce in the center.”

Speed rapper Mac Lethal busts out those lines and a whole lot more in this hidden-camera stunt from ad agency SuperHeroes touting the extended battery life of Asus’ Zenfone Max Android handset. (It lasts 38 days on a single charge, they claim!)

SuperHeroes Gives ‘The Best Gift Ever’ for LG CordZero

International creative agency SuperHeroes crafted an online spot for LG CordZero showing a group of kids having fun with the vacuum cleaner.

When one of the kids is given the LGCordZero as a birthday present, the group is initially perplexed. Soon, however, they put the LG CordZero together (which appears to be quite easy) and can’t stop using it. They clean the carpet and start feeding the LG CordZero a variety of snacks, delighting as it sucks up everything in sight. It’s a fun, memorable way to show the LG CordZero in action, and display how it can handle even tough messes. We still don’t recommend giving one as a gift to your kindergartner, however.

First SuperHeroes NY Campaign Stars Birds with Arms Because Why Not?

SuperHeroes is an Amsterdam-based agency that just established its first stateside office here in our fair city of New York. How do we know this? Because we just received the agency’s first “American” campaign.

The New York move, which prompted AdAge to speculate that SuperHeroes might be “the first Dutch ad agency in Manhattan,” came on the heels of a big win: Korean computer giant Asus.

The agency’s new work promotes that client — and, as promised in our headline, it stars a multitasking bro with feathers, or “The World’s Most Modern Bird”:

Sounds like he works in finance…but he did say “titmouse.”

Asus Has Finally Created the Perfect Digital Device for Birds With Arms

Stop it, you’re quilling me.

Birds with tiny human arms and hands soar in sublimely silly style thanks to SuperHeroes’s first global campaign for the Asus Transformer T100 2-in-1. It’s also the inaugural work from the New York office the Amsterdam-based agency perhaps best known for its prankvertising efforts on behalf of LG.

In “Modern Birds,” a freaky fingered flock demonstrates the features of the Asus laptop/tablet hybrid. The idea is that birds know how to get stuff done #OnTheFly.

Savvy consumers of Internet culture will recognize that birds with arms are nothing new.

“We’ve always loved the birds with arms meme,” agency ecd Rogier Vijverberg tells AdFreak. “And when looking for a spokesperson for Asus we saw the match. Birds are truly always on the move, plus they would allow us to have a great outside perspective on our modern human race.”

Besides, he says, “it’s a crowded market, so to stand out and get noticed, you need to also stand out in communication.”

Edward, a tufted titmouse with an attitude, stars in a trio of spots. He praises Asus to the skies and taunts users of competing devices: “My T100 has up to 11 hours of battery life to keep me productive. Eleven hours, pecka-face!”

Beyond the spots from directors Andrew Watson and Maarten Boon via production house Minivegas, SuperHeroes has more creative lined up for the campaign.

“There’s a bunch of work for Asus in the pipeline,” Vijverberg says. “It’s fully global, launching in Asia, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas. Apart from (the three films), we have a Facebook game, loads of social content and more memes coming up.”

So, who’d win an all-out war between ad mascots with asinine appendages: Asus’ birds with arms or Cravendale’s cats with thumbs?

Designer Brews Up a Super Set of Comic Book Beer Labels

For adult comic fans, superheroes and beer always go together. But Orlando, Fla.-based graphic designer Marcelo Rizzetto is taking that pairing to a new level by creating beers inspired by each member of D.C.'s Justice League.

His first six bottles honor Batman (of course), Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and the Flash. In addition to incorporating each hero's logo into their beer label, he's created varietal names that correspond with each character. For example, Batman is a dark ale, Green Lantern is a pale ale, the Flash is an Irish red ale, and Wonder Woman is a classic American lager.

Honestly, that last one should have gone to Aquaman, just to continue the old joke about American beer being mostly water.

LG Monitors Are So Lifelike, They’ll Stop You From Urinating Properly

LG is making a splash with bathroom humor in its latest piece of prankvertising. Marketing shop SuperHeroes installed ultra-wide LG IPS 21:9 monitors at eye level above urinals in a men's room at Amsterdam's World Fashion Centre. When guys showed up to use the facilities, the screens sprang to life with crisp images of sexy female models, who appeared to be appraising the men's … plumbing. The images were so lifelike, as seen in the hidden-camera footage, that most guys got stage fright—with many suffering a delay before they could urinate, and 25 percent failing to pee altogether.

"The film was shot … with actual visitors of the centre," SuperHeroes creative director Rogier Vijverberg tells AdFreak. "We spent a full day in the adjacent toilet filming the reactions of unsuspecting men. As a backup, we'd hired a handful of extras. Nobody knew they were filmed beforehand, not even the extras."

The video is on track to top 1 million YouTube views in little more than two days. And though invasive, this prank seems more playful and less upsetting than some other recent ones, including the last hair-raising SuperHeroes-LG collaboration—the one with the monitors lining the elevator floor. The guys at the urinals seem mildy miffed, but those elevator riders were truly shafted.
